It is highly recommended that you, as a host, plan on providing a brief introduction during the beginning of the web conference. The reason for this is that it is a good time to not only introduce yourself, but also others who may be presenting during the web conference. Lastly, this is an ideal time to provide any additional information to your participants such as what you expect out of them and also let them know how to go about asking questions during the web conference.
